The housing crisis dawned the headlines in recent years. Economic Development stakeholders saw the critical need as they worked to retain, expand, and attract talent in their communities, directly supporting their growing businesses. Over the course of this past year, several communities leaped into action, governments activated properties and capital, all to fill this crucial need. In this session, we’re going to hear from industry experts and communities on how they worked to find a solution, what were some of the pitfalls from the programs and projects to avoid and lay the path towards diversified housing across the state.
