A Note from the EDCC Board Chair

Dear Conference Attendees,
On behalf of the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC), it’s my honor to welcome you to this year’s conference in Colorado’s “Steel City”. This is one of my favorite events of the year and we’re so glad that you’ve decided to join us for what is always a worthwhile few days.
The Drive | Lead | Succeed Conference helps strengthen the overall economy in Colorado by bringing together in one great location economic development professionals, business leaders, government officials, and others. The theme of this year’s conference is superheroes, and I think that is appropriate for managing and dealing with the challenges we all face. To help manage these challenges, the conference aims to:
- Unite leading industry influencers and thought leaders to exchange invaluable insights and tackle distinctive challenges.
- Introduce innovative tools and solutions to address pressing economic issues.
- Cultivate meaningful collaboration and facilitating the exchange of fresh ideas among Colorado’s foremost Economic & Workforce Development professionals, business and non-profit leaders, government staff and officials, and beyond.
Over the next few days, take this opportunity to connect with newcomers, network with both urban and rural peers, engage in thought-provoking sessions, and discover new resources to strengthen your work and contribute to a stronger Colorado.
I also invite you to connect with EDCC’s volunteer board members to learn more about our organization, provide feedback, and explore how you or your organization can partner with us. As a membership-driven organization, we rely on a statewide team to support Colorado’s economic well-being—and we welcome your involvement.
A special thanks to our speakers, sponsors, and organizers for their dedication and support in making this conference a success. We look forward to learning, collaborating, and growing together as we take Colorado to new heights.
