Nathan Peterson, Founder & CEO, Vederra Modular

Nathan has been a fixture in the modular home industry in Colorado since 2005. Over that time, he has built one of the State’s largest modular dealerships and development companies utilizing modular technology. Since 2005, Colorado Modular Homes has designed and constructed over $250 million of modular homes and multi-family projects all over Colorado.

In addition to this retail business, Mr. Peterson owns and operates a development company that builds modular affordable housing projects. Western Development currently has over 65,000 ft2 of modular affordable housing projects in various stages of development.

Nathan is well versed in all aspects of real estate development in modular and traditional construction techniques, holding Class A, B, and C general contracting licenses. Nathan holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and has an MBA in Finance and Accounting.

Nathan is well-connected to our state’s affordable housing industry. He is involved in many legislative issues concerning affordable housing and the modular industry. Nathan has been a member of the Colorado Division of Housing’s rule-making committee for modular industry regulation for the past ten years and has served on the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority Board of Directors. Additionally, for the past seven years, Nathan has served as Chairman of the Credit Union of the Rockies, which serves mountain communities with affordable banking products. He is appreciated for his financial and construction underwriting knowledge and entrepreneurial vision for the organizations he is involved with. Nathan is passionate about creative, affordable housing solutions and helping underserved and disadvantaged communities in Colorado. He has the hands-on experience and executive management skills to help Vederra transform the Colorado modular housing industry.
