The Grand Junction Economic Partnership (GJEP) proudly announces the relocation of Tandem Studio to Fruita, Colorado. Hailing from Belgium Walloon, Tandem Studio is a mixed arts workspace that designs architectural 3D renderings. Leveraging cutting-edge technology, Tandem Studio transforms concepts into stunning visual representations, offering renderings that may be used for residential, commercial, landscaping, and interior design projects.
Tandem Studio delivers premium 3D rendering services that showcase future-building lifestyles with remarkable clarity and immersion. Owned by Ludivine & François Crucifix, Tandem Studio decided to relocate to Fruita, CO from Belgium Walloon due to the region’s family-friendly atmosphere, proximity to nature and outdoor recreation, and a community rich with resources to help his business grow. Francois Crucifix stated, “In addition to working on European projects, I was looking for new horizons to expand my business. I’m excited to work on projects that are exotic to me. The amazing mix of the western Colorado landscapes and American building habits makes me eager to create inspired architectural design renderings.”
The company’s decision to relocate to Fruita aligns with the region’s strategic focus on fostering innovation and supporting businesses in emerging industries. Tandem Studio currently operates out of the
Fruita Arts & Recreation Marketplace (FARM), a community of creative professionals and entrepreneurs cultivating their craft through mixed-use, retail and private workspaces located in Downtown Fruita.
During their relocation process, the Grand Junction Economic Partnership supported Tandem Studio by providing connections to the Colorado Office of Economic Development & International Trade (OEDIT), Colorado Mesa University, and assisting with letters of support for visa approval as the company continues to grow in Mesa County.
CMU Tech, the primary career and technical education provider in Mesa County, is excited to partner with Tandem Studio. It will provide a mutually beneficial relationship by increasing Tandem Studio’s
employment base and internship, apprenticeship, and job opportunities for graduates of CMU Tech’s Drafting and Machining/Manufacturing Technology programs. “Fruita and the Grand Junction area provide me with a growing perspective with a dynamic building industry and a skilled talent pool trained in CMU Tech’s programs. Moving from Belgium to work and live in Fruita is also an intense family experience fitting an outdoor lifestyle we were dreaming of,” stated François Crucifix.
As the company settles into its new home, the Grand Junction Economic Partnership remains committed to supporting Tandem Studio’s growth and success in the region. Steve Jozefczyk, Deputy Director for the Grand Junction Economic Partnership, stated, “Tandem Studio will be an excellent fit for Fruita as they contribute to the creativity and innovation of the region. We look forward to seeing their collaboration with CMU Tech and to seeing them provide new job opportunities in Mesa County. The positive impact they’ll have on our
community, both economically and culturally, is something we can all look forward to.” The company is currently hiring a 3D modeler to create architectural and landscaping models and plans to add additional positions as the company grows. For more information, please visit www.3Dtandemstudio.com.
