Stacy recently embarked on a new career path, taking on the role of Town Manager for the Town of Kersey in April 2024. Previously, she worked for the Town of Windsor for 13 years and has over 25 years of experience in economic development. Prior to working for the Town of Windsor, she worked for Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC) a regional economic development organization that served all of Larimer County. Stacy also worked for the City of Lakewood Economic Development Department.
Stacy has a proven track record in economic development, in her last position she brought in over 1 billion worth of investment into Windsor. Her efforts there also resulted in the construction and acquisition of nearly 2.4 million square feet of space, the creation of over 3,000 jobs, and an annual payroll exceeding $190 million. Durning her career in economic development she managed thousands of attraction prospects and worked with over 1,000 existing businesses, showcasing her expertise and dedication to fostering economic growth.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising Media from the University of Northern Colorado, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, a graduate of the Leadership Jefferson County Program and Northern Colorado Leadership Program. Most recently Stacy was named a 2024 BizWest Most Influential Business Leader. She also was the 2023 recipient of the Economic Development Achievement Award from the Economic Development Council of Colorado
