Scott Romano is the Chief Operating Officer of Energize Colorado. Joining the organization as it was founded in May of 2020, he has spearheaded the effort to operationalize Energize Colorado’s mission across Colorado. Serving small businesses and the ecosystem of support that exists around them. Energize Colorado has deployed nearly $50M in grants and loans to Colorado’s smallest businesses with a focus on rural, veteran, BIPOC, and women-led businesses.
Scott received his Bachelor’s degree from University of Denver in International Business & Economics. Prior to Energize Colorado, Scott ran a digital consulting firm with a focus on serving public-interest projects including innovating local journalism, modernizing academic approaches to the future of work, and supporting local government leaders to engage younger constituents
