Professionally, Brad McCloud is the Area Manager, Community Relations in Western Colorado for Xcel Energy. Brad has worked at Xcel for just over 3 years and prior to that worked for a decade in public affairs and relations with diverse groups from mom-and-pop shops to Fortune 200 companies in: energy and utilities, natural resources, medical and pharmaceutical, telecommunications, water, ranching and nonprofits across the western United States. He has run multiple successful political campaigns (issue and candidate), provided testimony to local, state and US Congressional hearings, served as the keynote speaker for the 53rd Annual National Mountain Plains Management Conference, the current Chair of Club 20, a Lions International Melvin Jones fellow and of course past president of the Grand Junction Lions Club.
On the personal side Brad is everything Colorado. He actively volunteers with multiple organizations and participates on many boards in his community. He loves to attend concerts, hunt, fish camp and go ATVing with family and friends, but most of all he enjoys making his two sons (one 19 and the other 15) his priority.
