The Global Business Development Division of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) announced today that HNA Live, a data analytics company serving manufacturing and real estate industries, has selected Denver, Colorado for its new headquarters.
“Colorado and the Front Range are home to a growing roster of tech companies that are changing the way more traditional sectors do business. We’re pleased to welcome HNA Live to Colorado, where the company’s spirit of innovation will add to this technological revolution and support the state’s thriving economy,” said Patrick Meyers, Executive Director of the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade.
HNA Live is a cloud solution that combines AI and 3D technology to optimize manufacturing facility productivity. Future applications of the technology are being explored in real estate. Their tech team captures, visualizes, and optimizes real-time data streams, while their technology service increases data access & insights for actionable real-time decisions. The startup’s decision to establish a headquarters in Denver follows an analysis of ten cities across the United States.
“Everything pointed to Denver,” said Cooper Mojsiejenko, Chief Executive Officer at HNA Live. “The workforce is talented, the city’s central location makes it easy to do business across the country, and innovative tech and real estate ecosystems will help the heart of our nation solve their biggest challenges first.”
By establishing its headquarters in Denver, HNA Live will add to a growing technology sector along Colorado’s Front Range and support the growth of the state’s manufacturing and real estate industries. The company expects to create 36+ net new jobs in sales, engineering, executive and administrative roles, with an average annual wage of $99,028, which is 132% of the average annual wage in Denver County.
“The Metro Denver EDC was pleased to be able to showcase the entire Metro Denver Region to HNA Live during their site search and are excited to have them landing in Denver to bolster the already thriving start-up ecosystem. We would like to thank all our economic development partners that assisted in bringing HNA Live to Colorado,” said Morgan Alu, Director of International Development and Special Projects, Metro Denver EDC.
“Denver’s rich assets continue to make our city an attractive place to do business; from The Commons on Champa – that offers newer companies, such as HNA Live, a place to ‘land’ while they are navigating the complexities of starting a new company, to marquee events like Denver StartUp Week that bring players across the industry together to mingle and innovate. We’re thrilled to welcome another successful tech company to our thriving ecosystem in Denver!” said Jen Morris, Denver Economic Development & Opportunity Executive Director.
The Colorado Economic Development Commission approved up to $164,284 in performance-based Job Growth Incentive Tax Credits over an 8-year period to HNA Live, referred to as “Project Our Nation” throughout the OEDIT review process. The company currently has 13 employees in Michigan, Indiana, Texas, Wisconsin, New York, and California. Until now, none of the employees have been based in Colorado.
