Tiffany Dickenson is a 6th-generation native of Western Colorado. Born and raised in Grand Junction, Tiffany attended Grand Junction High School and went on to graduate with a BA in Criminal Justice from Mesa State College (now Colorado Mesa University). After college, Tiffany worked for CenturyLink as a Small Business Credit Consultant, assisting small businesses with their phone and internet service for several years, ultimately moving to Phoenix, AZ when the office in Grand Junction closed. After a year in Phoenix, she found herself missing the rural lifestyle of Western Colorado and she came home.
AGNC hired Tiffany in 2016 in a temporary position to assist with the annual Economic Development Summit. Impressed with her ability to quickly pick up all the duties of the Administrative Assistant role, the Executive Director and Board of Directors offered Tiffany a permanent position. During her time with AGNC, Tiffany has participated in several Economic Development and Professional Development courses to gain proficiency in the principles of Economic Development. Tiffany was instrumental in developing the region’s first Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) and the 2021 update, obtaining and managing the Economic Development District (EDD) designation through the Economic Development Administration (EDA), grant management, Enterprise Zone (EZ) Administrator, and the various programs AGNC oversees in her role as Program Administrator. In January 2022, Tiffany’s role was expanded and included all day-to-day operations of the organization as Deputy Director. After an extensive search for a new Executive Director, Tiffany applied for the position and was offered and accepted the role in June 2022.
Tiffany continues to live in Grand Junction with her husband, their two teenage sons, and their dog, Steve.
