Jenni serves as the Director of Community & Economic Development for Adams County, where she has been leading the organization’s work on revitalization and redevelopment activities for the past three years. Previously, as the Economic Policy & Development Manager for the City of Westminster, her focus was on TOD redevelopment areas and leading affordable housing policy implementation and project management. After making the shift from city to county, the need for financial tools to support revitalization projects was evident, and the effort to create HB24-1172 emerged.
Jenni’s expertise includes strategic planning, public policy, affordable housing, sustainable design, and urban infill projects. For the past 24 years, she has worked across the spectrum of design and land development in the non-profit sector, local government, and in universities, having taught at Iowa State University, University of Colorado, and University of Hawaii. Jenni holds M.Arch and M.UD degrees from the University of Colorado and the LEED AP-ND credential. She has been a frequent speaker on affordable housing and redevelopment areas and has presented nationally and internationally.
Jenni and her husband, John, are public servants to the core and have three grown children along with their very large Golden Retriever, Ollie, who is attending his first EDCC conference.
