Opportunity Now Colorado awarded over $27 million to-date, and as we enter Phase 2 we are excited to share that we are allocating nearly double that amount to fund high quality programs that will impact Colorado’s talent needs. We aim to fund organizations and regional partnerships that address more of Colorado’s vast regional workforce needs and and priority industries, and offer greater alignment and participation of Colorado’s employers and industry leadersIf you didn’t receive grant funding in Phase 1, we strongly encourage you to resubmit your application for Phase 2.
Phase 2 Updates
To streamline the application process in Phase 2, the previously required Letter of Intent (LOI) will be replaced with an optional Pre-Screening Application. We strongly urge you to complete this short form as it will give you a preliminary screening and assessment of your program’s eligibility and alignment with Opportunity Now program goals, and set you up for success in the Request for Application (RFA) stage. Applicants who complete the Pre-Screening Application will receive feedback on their eligibility and which grant track (Planning, Seed, or Scale) they may be most competitive in, as well as get a head start on their Request For Application (RFA) process. We encourage re-applicants to complete the Pre-Screening Application as well.
The Pre-Screening Application will launch on 8/10 and close 8/24. Then, the required Request for Application will open around the end of August and close mid-October.
More information on Phase 2 of Opportunity Now Colorado (such as grant track allocations, a full timeline of dates, FAQs, and technical assistance resources) will be made available on our website (OpportunityNow.CO) on August 10th. Please check back on that day to start your application process!
