Gregor MacGregor

 

Gregor MacGregor is a water attorney focused on environmental justice and agricultural land preservation. He teaches courses on environmental and natural resources law and policy at the University of Colorado Law School, as well as CU’s Masters of the Environment and Outdoor Recreation Economy professional degree programs. Gregor directs the Acequia Assistance Project, a pro bono effort to provide Hispano farmers in southern Colorado with free legal services regarding their water rights, land rights, and businesses. Outside of academia and the law, Gregor also owns and operates a cottage food business, Vulcan Mine Bakery. The bakery focuses on creating local economy and community through charitable support to resettled refugee families and free small business consultations. Gregor received his BA and Army commission from the University of Colorado, and earned his JD from the University of Colorado Law School after retiring from the service.
