Paul Major is a Board Member of the Paradox Community Trust and Manager of Rural Homes, LLC and its subsidiaries. Major leads the multi-million-dollar non-profit affordable workforce housing development operations. Rural Homes is currently active in four housing development projects in rural SW Colorado. Prior to the Paradox Community Trust and Rural Homes, Major was the founding President and CEO of the Telluride Foundation, serving in that role since its inception in 2000 to January 2022. Prior to the Telluride Foundation, Major was the Director of Business Development for Booth Creek Ski Holding’s six resorts. Major’s ski industry experience began in 1984 with the U.S. Ski Team in Park City, UT. He served as the Vice President of Athletics and Olympic alpine ski coach. Major is a Board of Trustee for Fort Lewis College, a member of the Rural Funders Learning Network, Caring for Colorado Foundation, (Board Member and Chairs the Investment & Finance Committee), Telluride Venture Accelerator (Co-Founder), Telluride Venture Fund, LP (General Partner)..
