Steve is a 26-Year US Army combat veteran where he served as a Field Artillery officer in various assignments, including three commands, advisor to Iraqi forces, and assistant professor of economics at West Point. Since retiring from the Army in 2012, he has served in key business development and operations roles as a founding member in two technology start-ups, RideScout Inc. and OpenBeds Inc., where he helped develop and implement product, sales, and marketing strategies–both companies were acquired within four years of inception. In his current role, Steve serves as the COO and leads the Growth Team at Sustainment Technologies, a company committed to the growth and utilization of US SME manufactures. He has three children and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife, Lora.
