Nanna Meyer, Colorado Grain Chain

 

Nanna Meyer is an associate Professor at University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCSP. She teaches courses in nutrition for active and athletic people, sustainable and local food systems, food culture, and grain value chains (e.g., UCCS Grain School) as they relate to a changing climate. She is also the co-owner of Pueblo Seed & Food Company which was founded in Pueblo county, but now relocated to Colorado’s Four Corner region. As farmer, food entrepreneur, scientist, and educator, Nanna invests every minute of her day, aiming to advance food systems literacy, Colorado-Grown Grains and whole grain nutrition, sustainable Athlete’s Plates®, and climate action from production to consumption.
