Colorado Creative Industries has been approved for an $808,100 National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) FY 2021 partnership agreement to address priorities identified at the state level. These funds will support the arts in areas such as cultural tourism, community revitalization, economic development, education, and health and human services.
“As the country and the arts sector begin to work towards a post-pandemic world, the National Endowment for the Arts is proud to fund the work of our partners,” said NEA Acting Chairman Ann Eilers. “These agreements such as the one to Colorado Creative Industries leverage federal funds for regional, state, and local impact, reinforcing the network of support that is vital for a healthy arts ecosystem.”
In addition to CCI’s partnership agreement, 27 grants were awarded to recipients spanning from Aspen to Alamosa and represent a wide array of creative disciplines. These organizations will be able to use these funds to strengthen their communities and provide arts and culture programming to individuals of all ages.

As Colorado’s economy builds back post-pandemic these funds will cultivate a stronger statewide arts infrastructure for the organizations that have suffered through the past year,” said Margaret Hunt, Director of the Colorado Creative Industries.
