WEST SLOPE STARTUP WEEK ANNOUNCES CALL FOR IDEAS

Techstars Startup Week West Slope is seeking proposals for sessions for its 2020 event, taking place in Grand Junction and communities around the Western Slope on June 1-5.
Ideas for panels, workshops, tours and other events may be submitted via online form by February 28, 2020. The Startup Week organizing team will make selections by early April.
“Startup Week is a meeting of entrepreneurial minds no matter your industry or experience,” said Mara Hardy of the Grand Junction Economic Partnership and part of the Startup Week West Slope organizing team. “This is about more than tech, it’s a celebration of how we do business on the Western Slope. We encourage everyone in the community to participate and hope you will consider submitting an idea for a session!”
Startup Week is a free, multi-day event with community-driven programming. In its second year, Startup Week West Slope is offering eight tracks: Ag/Food, Capital, Communications, FUN!, Makers, People, Tech, and Toolbox.

For the first two “Hometown” days, events will be locally based in cities across the Western Slope from Durango to Steamboat Springs. Startup Week culminates in Grand Junction June 3-5. Rural Coloradoans outside of Grand Junction may apply for free lodging at Startup Colorado’s Bunkhouse.

In addition to the call for ideas, Startup Week is also seeking volunteers and sponsors. Visit https://westslopestartupweek.com/ or email  westslope@startupweek.co for more information.
