Pueblo, CO – October 28, 2025 – The Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) presented the 2025 Legislative Lifetime Achievement Award to Senator Mark Baisley, recognizing his long-standing dedication to advancing policies that foster economic growth, innovation, and opportunity across Colorado.

Senator Baisley’s tenure in the Colorado Legislature—serving in the House from 2019 to 2022 and the Senate since 2023—has been marked by a steadfast commitment to creating a vibrant business climate that empowers communities statewide. With a forty-year career in information technology and aerospace, including his role as President of the engineering software firm Sipglass Inc., Senator Baisley brings a deep understanding of the intersection between technology, business, and workforce development.

His leadership has played a pivotal role in championing forward-thinking legislation designed to strengthen Colorado’s economic competitiveness.
