Region 10 League for Economic Assistance & Planning

In 2019, Trish joined Region 10 to spearheads team and initiatives to identify local challenges and implement projects to create solutions in Region 10’s six-county service- area, including Delta, Montrose, Gunnison, Hinsdale, Ouray, and San Miguel counties. Trish also administers the Region 10 Enterprise Zone program. Trish holds a Masters of Arts degree from Northern Colorado University in Greeley. For over 30 years she has been working with local nonprofits and state government in developing and sustaining vibrant communities across the U.S. Past experience includes running a nationally recognized artist residency and arts-based youth development program, leading the state domestic violence coalition and working with various universities in student affairs. In 2014, Trish left Denver and moved to the western slope to lead efforts in Delta County going through coal-mine closures.  Recognized statewide for her insights and strategies that helped Delta County mitigate the negative economic impact of local coal mine closures, the State of Colorado tapped Trish to oversee two of the Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) statewide rural programs before joining Region 10. Trish holds a Masters of Arts degree from Northern Colorado University in Greeley. Outside of work, Trish can be found tending to her garden and many critters, while enjoying all that the wonderful things the western slope offers.
