Laura Moody

Laura is the Redevelopment and Revitalization Direction with the City of Longmont and the Executive Director of the Longmont Urban Renewal Authority. Laura has over a decade of experience in economic development and urban renewal, helping communities grow stronger and more vibrant. With a passion for revitalizing neighborhoods, she has led projects that attract investment, create jobs, and improve quality of life. Her collaborative approach brings together public and private partners to achieve shared goals. She is most inspired by seeing the lasting impact her work has on the people and places she serves. Prior to working in Longmont, Laura worked for the City of Lakewood and Lakewood Reinvestment Authority and the City of Commerce City. Laura has lived in Colorado with her family for over twenty years and in her spare time she is a First-Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo.
