Johnna Reeder Kleymeyer is the President & CEO of the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, Southern Colorado’s largest chamber of commerce and economic development organization. Since joining the Chamber & EDC in 2022, she has spearheaded initiatives in aerospace, defense, and legislative advocacy, resulting in 35 new economic development projects that created 5,902 new jobs and $1.8 billion in capital investment in the Pikes Peak region. She also led the launch of the Titans of Economic Development Council—an initiative supported by more than 80 companies and individuals who raised $5.3 million to accelerate economic growth.
In both 2023 and 2024, El Paso County led the state in project wins with the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT), underscoring the region’s growing competitiveness and the Chamber & EDC’s strategic impact.
Reeder Kleymeyer also guided the creation of Innovate Pikes Peak, a new program designed to strengthen the region’s innovation ecosystem and support entrepreneurs, and the Colorado Aerospace and Defense Economic Development Council (CAD-EDC), a statewide initiative aligning industry, government, and academia to advance Colorado’s leadership in aerospace and defense. Under her leadership, the Chamber & EDC serves as the host organization for the Pikes Peak Housing Network, a regional coalition advancing solutions for affordable, accessible housing through cross-sector collaboration, data-driven strategies, and community engagement.
Prior to her role at the Chamber & EDC, Reeder Kleymeyer has a distinguished background in leadership roles, including serving as President and CEO of the Regional Economic Development Initiative (REDI) Cincinnati, and holding leadership positions at Duke Energy, Citigroup, United Way of Greater Cincinnati in Ohio and Kentucky, the Obion County Chamber of Commerce and the Jackson Downtown Development Corporation in Tennessee.
As the inaugural President and CEO of REDI Cincinnati, Reeder Kleymeyer led a 15-county, three-state regional economic development organization. Under her leadership, REDI Cincinnati achieved over 175 project wins, created 25,000 jobs, and secured $1.4 billion in new capital investment within four years.
Reeder Kleymeyer is a proud graduate of the University of Memphis (BA in Communications), Thomas More University (MBA), and attended the University of Oklahoma Economic Development Institute (OUEDI) where she earned a certificate in economic development from the International Economic Development Council.
