Stacy Brown, Town of Windsor

Stacy began working for the Town of Windsor April 2011.  She has been involved in economic development for over 22 years and thoroughly enjoys working with companies to supply them with the resources that they can use to operate more efficiently and effectively.  Prior to working for the Town of Windsor, she worked for Northern Colorado Economic Development Corporation (NCEDC) a regional economic development organization that served all of Larimer County. Stacy also worked for the City of Lakewood Economic Development Department.

Stacy has been able to bring in over $600 million worth of investment to Windsor since 2011.  That has equated to almost 1.6 million square feet of space being built or acquired in the Town.  Those companies will create over 2,600 jobs with an annual payroll of over $154 million.  Stacy has handled over 1,000 prospects since starting the department.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism, Public Relations and Advertising Media from the University of Northern Colorado, is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute, a graduate of the Leadership Jefferson County Program and Northern Colorado Leadership Program.  Stacy has been a Biz West 40 under 40 honoree, a 2014 Woman of Vision from the Colorado Women of Influence and a 2021 Women of Distinction honoree.

Stacy is the current president of Commercial Real Estate for Women (CREW) for Northern Colorado, sits on the Front Range Community College Business Advisory Board, Columbine Health Systems Advisory Board and is the Chair Elect for the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) Board.
