Libby Christensen is an Extension Agent for Colorado State University in Routt County. Libby has over 15 years of experience working fostering community and economic development through food systems. Her experiences include informing land use management decisions with regards to agriculture with the Sacramento Area Council of Governments, supporting the development of a food and agricultural micro loan program in Steamboat Springs, running a produce distribution company in the Salinas Valley, and teaching food safety and business development courses for cottage food businesses in Colorado. Libby received her BA in economics from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and her MS and PhD from the University of California at Davis.
